Kansas Action for Children is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of Kansas children and families. For 30 years, KAC has partnered with lawmakers and community leaders throughout the state to develop cost-effective solutions to some of the state's most pressing children's issues. Among the organization's advocacy efforts are the state's child booster seat law, the new graduated drivers licensing system (GDL), extended eligibility for HealthWave, expanded newborn screening, establishment of the Children's Initiatives Fund (CIF), permanency of the KIDS College Savings Match program, and strengthened child support collection laws.
Tickets for the 30th Anniversary Luncheon may be purchased online at www.kac.org or by phone at 785.232.0550. Ticket prices start at $50 per person. Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit KAC and its work to ensure more Kansas children have the health, education and economic resources they need to reach their fullest potential.
