Nathan King

Communications Specialist

Nathan King joined KAC as the Communications Specialist in 2025. He supports content creation and digital strategy across the organization’s platforms, including website, email, and social media. He helps develop mission-driven content, support digital campaigns, and produce multimedia storytelling to engage Kansans and build support for policy changes that benefit children and families. He brings experience in journalism, nonprofit communications, and public affairs, with skills in storytelling, design, and digital outreach.

Originally from Wathena in northeast Kansas, Nathan earned his bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Kansas State University. He lives in Lawrence with his wife Lauren and their two dogs, Molly and Mavis. In his free time, he enjoys traveling to see family, camping, hiking, and performing in community theatre productions.
