Opponent Testimony on SB 387 (Requiring Legislative Approval for CEP and Requiring Districts Confirm Free Lunch Eligibility)

KAC submitted testimony to the House Committee on Education in opposition to SB 387, which would require school districts to seek legislative approval to participate in the Community Eligibility Provision and would require school districts to confirm students' eligibility for the Free and Reduced-Price Lunch Program to be able to be counted within the At-Risk weighting funding calculation.
