Heather Braum

Health Policy Advisor

Heather joined KAC in July 2020 in the newly created post of health policy advisor, particularly focusing on Medicaid and CHIP issues for kids and families. She currently serves on the Immunize Kansas Coalition board as policy chair. In a past professional life as a systems librarian and information science doctoral student, she worked with public libraries, technology, and information policy. A fifth-generation Kansan, Heather holds degrees in political science and library science.
