Jacquie Lightcap
Coalition Manager
Jacquie Lightcap joined KAC as the Coalition Manager in 2025. She works closely with the Partnership for Early Success, building relationships within the coalition to ensure Kansas prioritizes the needs of children in policy and funding decisions so that every child can thrive. Jacquie has years of experience working with nonprofit organizations in forming strategic partnerships and programs in service to the common good, whether through promoting community volunteerism, encouraging voter engagement, or facilitating and leading training on how to be an engaged citizen and advocate.
A native Kansan, Jacquie holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from Oklahoma Baptist University. She lives in Topeka in an almost-empty nest with her husband Torey, two college-aged kids, and two cats (Mackey and Mister Littlejeans). In her spare time, Jacquie enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, listening to podcasts, and searching for (and possibly baking) the perfect chocolate chip cookie.
